Actingwise...its still Ranbir...he is more nuanced.

But only because Varun is not acting in artsy films does NOT mean he is a bad actor. People think doing masala is easy/the genre is inferior. Well it is NOT. Pulling off a masala/comedy in style is as hard as acting in some author-backed role in an indie film.

Ranbir is the Ajay Devgan of this time. A national award winning actor, hits or flops don't affect his career, after every box-office failure he blames his director and moves on.
