Not surprising. JHMS's promos made me want to run in the opposite direction..Judwaa 2 at least never looked that bad.

Varun has done very well for himself. It's time he's given proper credit.

totally..he is barely 5 years in industry and his movies are earning and opening in the league of superstars who have been around from years and years

lets acknowledge that instead of crediting everything to that N word..

Mast movie hai...I laughed out loud at so many scenes.

Varun as Raja rocked. I loved his scenes the most. And prems doctor was so funny!!! Lol

Did not watch Salman's judwaa, maybe I will watch it next.

Top Opening Days 2017 - Judwaa 2 Fourth

Judwaa 2 has clocked the fourth highest opening of the year beating the Shahrukh Khan starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal. In terms of all time it is the 28th highest opening ever beating films like Housefull 2, Ram Leela, Gunday and Race 2. This is an excellent result for a Varun Dhawan starrer and the only films above t (Bahubali, Tubelight and Raees are probably the three biggest films of the year in terms of budget)

Bahubali - The Conclusion remains top with a killer 40 crore nett plus and then you have Tubelight and Raees in that 20 crore nett bracket and then its the 15 crore nett bracket with Judwaa 2 and Jab Harry Met Sejal. Comparatively Judwaa 2 can be called the best outright Hindi film opening of 2017 as the likes of Tubelight, Raees and Jab Harry Met Sejal were expected to post higher numbers. Below are the top ten highest opening days of the year.

1. Bahubali 2 - The Conclusion - 40,73,00,000

2. Tubelight - 20,55,00,000

3. Raees - 20,29,00,000

4. Judwaa 2 - 15,75,00,000 apprx

5. Jab Harry Met Sejal - 14,69,00,000

6. Jolly LLB 2 - 12,06,00,000

7. Badrinath Ki Dulhania - 11,68,00,000

8. Toilet Ek Prem Katha - 11,34,00,000

9. Baadshaho - 10,10,00,000

10. Half Girlfriend - 9,27,00,000
