Dwarf film to be called Batlaa

We have been hearing various names for Aanand L Rai's next starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. While various titles for the film have been floating around for a year, including Katrina Meri Jaan and Rangbaaz, we have come to know that the film is called Batlaa which means a small or short man.
Says a source, "The film will see Shah Rukh playing the role of a dwarf and as he plays a pint-sized character, people have been calling it a dwarf film, a word disliked by Rai, who feels that it's more than just a dwarf film. He feels the story is greater than a character. The filmmaker has always told people that more than a dwarf, the story revolves around the story of a short man. Shah Rukh also plays a man of normal height hence calling the film which didn't convey the actual meaning didn't make sense. That is why after much deliberation the creative team and Rai, after consulting with SRK, decided to title his film Batlaa, which means a man of Liliputian-size. Batlaaconveys the story and is slightly light-hearted too, so people don't think it's a very serious film. The first schedule of the film is over with Shah Rukh and Anushka and Katrina will begin her schedule from next month in Mumbai.

If you notice shahrukh then you will see that he has maintained his body well...he is short petite slim ..however one can get slim as much as they want the only thing that does not get smaller is head. he still is a bud head

this is such a strange film... I really wonder about it, when will we get a sneak peek into the movie??

only heard batlaa one time in AAA when aamir say 'ae batlaa danny'..

Batlaa - bahut hi ajeeb naam hai 😆. Wondering why it's Batlaa if SRK is playing double role where he'd also be in his usual height. 😕 Hope ALR changes the name though.

Batlaa is a word for short people as far as I know.
It is used for people lacking height.
