Which one imagination is pretty?
Painter who draw this picture based on reality.
Or slb ka sapno ki rani with unigrow.
I think people will like to see pretty face in the theatre.

Wowww she is gorgeous. SLB ruined it for me. Deepika's face became boring. The only historical chatacter if anyone can play I see is Aish. It would do sooo much justice to the character.

Since when is an artist's viewpoint considered a fact? Nobody can actually confirm how Rani Padmini looked like - especially because she's a legend based on a poem by Jayasi.
This painting is based on how the painter imagined her to look like, and SLB's Padmavati is based on what he imagined her to look like + what historians might've told him about the 13th - 14th century.

lets say, this pic is painter imagination, which is one is older ? When slb is trying to recreate history, shouldnt he follow whats already existed, or change according to his wild imagination.

That pic looks like a digital print by Raju. Anyway, if you look at the historical paintings of Padmavati, they look pretty different from Raju's modern version.

Rani Padmini will have unibrow?

IDK about other communities, but in South India, unibrow is considered a sign of luck.. I find some unibrows on some women to be beautiful... not the BUSHY unibrow, but faint unibrows are beautiful 😆

How do u guys know what was the standard or definition of beauty back then ? Did the peom described her features? or any other historical material other than word of mouth ?
