Since when is an artist's viewpoint considered a fact? Nobody can actually confirm how Rani Padmini looked like - especially because she's a legend based on a poem by Jayasi.

This painting is based on how the painter imagined her to look like, and SLB's Padmavati is based on what he imagined her to look like + what historians might've told him about the 13th - 14th century.
