So basically, turkish shows draw their inspiration from the lives of BW stars 😛

Arre bhai i am not supporting the show 😆
Just pointing out technicality of adoption because my brother said the same thing after watching the promo that girl should rather adopt him and i explained him the same thing.

Child marriage is not canceled if reported. It is voidable within two years after the said minor attains majority.

i never said you are supporting the show in my post Did i ? I only mentioned a technical flaw I know how child marriage is declared null and void Not completely blank about law i just said if go by legal perspective marriage is no way going to protect the kid as the enemies could easily suppress her

Coming back to the topic of our discussion aka whether PPK is guilty or not then here is my vishesh tippani-
1.The circumstances under which Diya and Ratan got married:In one word it's illogical. In the initial episodes it was mentioned that there had been many attempts on Ratan's life prior to that.So are we supposed to believe that his ultra rich parents did nothing after the first attempt to secure their son's life??They had to wait till they were on their deathbed to marry their son off to Diya.

2.When you are dealing with child actors you have to take care of their mental and emotional state. They are sensitive. The dialogues which Ratan used were that of a 20 year old adult. Not a 9 year old kid.

3.The show would have been acceptable had they shown Diya protecting Ratan and at the same time falling for another guy,say Suyash Rai's character. Then it would have given a message that in future when Ratan becomes an adult this sham of a marriage will end and Diya will return to her life and Ratan to his.
But instead they showed Ratan filling Diya's maang with the title track blaring in the BG.Anyone used to Indian shows will guess that Ratan and Diya will be endgame coz ek chutki sindoor ki keemat tum kya jaano audience babu??

4.IMO the best possible scenario would have been to rip off Sunny Deol's movie Champion.😆Diya could have been some police officer assigned to protect Ratan.Due to which she had to act as his wife.

Not so much. One famous Turkish show is Kara Para Ask in which the FL's sister is kidnapped by a psycho criminal but ends up falling for him and vowing to change him with her pyaar ki taqat.
Then the criminal ends up escaping justice at the end.
Thanks to that pathetic side couple the awesome lead pair had to suffer.

I watched geet in the first week. It started off as a story where the man marries a girl and takes her belongings (he is already married and just wants dowry to settle in life) and vanishes after spending the night with her. I didnt watch after that. 😆

Yup i know some guy married her and left her. Later she moved to Mumbai and fell in love with the hero. So Gul types😆

Agree. the subject matter in itself was not horrible but it was executed in a tasteless manner. clearly the makers did not think too hard and thought audience will love it since they love almost everything. it is not hard to impress them😃
