I watched geet in the first week. It started off as a story where the man marries a girl and takes her belongings (he is already married and just wants dowry to settle in life) and vanishes after spending the night with her. I didnt watch after that. 😆

Actually its nkt easy to adopt a child in India given that his legal guardians are still alive
For a girl to adopt a boy, she shoukd atleast have an age difference of 18 years.
Moreover, the kid has guardians, so the court will give his custody to his guardians anyday over a girl who is not even realted.

Not justifying the show but pointing the technicality involved.

Haha no it is not. But, marriages can happen in secrecy but guardianship is a tricky affair.

they should have just set this show in historical times, to make things easier.
