Ashwatthama is the most underrated & undervalued warrior/character of MB. He doesn't get much credit for his contribution to the epic. Most of the people who've never read authentic Mahabharata versions, they're not aware of the characteristics of Ashtthama. I never believe what they show on TV. I believe in my own research. 😆 i am a mytho buff whether it is Hinuism, Islam, Christianity, Judiasm, Greek Gods or Pagan. 😆

The new versions of MB are totally twisted and there seems to be a clash of ideologies which is patriarchy v feminism.
Some versions of MB try and justify Duryodhan's angst against Draupadi by saying that when the former visited Palace of Illusions and fell in water; the latter laughed at him and said "andhe ka beta andha" which infuriates Duryodhan more.
Whereas, some scholars belive that the lines "andhe ka beta andha" was added afterwards to shos Draupadi as an egoistic and arrogant woman, which is false.

Barbarika is also a charachter unkown to many but he was the most powerful, more powerful than karauvas and Pandavas combined.
