^Oh well, he won't do that. He has said in many interviews that he's in his 50's now and doesn't want to go on set where he's going to be unhappy for 6 months. He will only work with people he likes and enjoys being with.

And I don't think he's chasing success either. He did Raees with a guy who had only made an art movie. Imtiaz Ali has mostly only had flops. He chose to do a supporting role in Dear Zindagi with a lady who had a small hit in English Vinglish. Fan was again an odd little movie.

He's said a lot lately that now he only wants to do whatever he feels like doing without worrying what anyone else thinks. Anyway it's really hard to predict anything. People used to trash Salman's family so much but it's with them that he had Dabang that resurrected his career.

You never really know how anything will turn out.

All I got from this thread is that SRK(and others) need quality heroines urgently.

The thought of Jaqui,Anu,Katty terrifies them.

Fans hve little confidence in the dwarf film.

Kangana will not do the film-inspite of that people are writing about Srk-Kang pairing.

I want to see a post of kangana fans here-They obviously are pleased at the interest of Srk fans-but they know that it will never happen.

There will be another dozens of pages on Srk-kangs pairing-it may be to slight SLB..

But fact remains thatSRK is the one who is having a tough time-wining and dining SLB may or may not result in a fllm-

No dharam sankat😉...Padmavati will be an epic trash just like BM was...it may make money but it will be still a trash ...just like trashy Devdas...The only good movies by SLB are HDDCS, Khamoshi and Black😳...all the others are epic trash...Padmavati will be trash and so will be the SRK-Kangu movie if directed by SLB.😛...

I'm not asking him to work with people he doesn't like. I'm asking him to read the script of the people he likes instead of saying "ok I'll work with you...let me know when to start and let's not care about anything else." Whether SRK chases success or not, I doubt he was unaffected by the JHMS.

Imtiaz Ali is probably the most celebrated "love story" maker in recent times...known for making careers, from Kareena to Ranbir to Deepika to Alia. Why is beyond me because he's basically a one hit wonder...or well 2 hit wonder, having made a record 2 good movies which were both made over 10 years ago anyways. But my point is, to me it's not surprising that SRK chose to make a "happy love story" with Imtiaz..chasing what SRK is famous for with a new director. Seeing the trailer only made it obvious, that JHMS was the desperate attempt of an ageing star to hang on to what made him famous. *shrugs* As for Raees and DZ, I thought SRK only did them b/c Farhan and KJo were involved. Raees was a full blown masala affair also, was't an art movie. Fan was the only one that I felt he was genuinely excited about..probably why that one hurt the most.

Yes you never really know how anything will turn out. Kahir anyways, this is just my POV. It's SRK's life and career & he is free to lead it as he wishes.
