Jab Harry Met Sejal had a huge crash in second weekend collections which came in 94% lower than the first weekend. This is has never happened for a Shahrukh Khan film for a long time, in fact this sort of drop has probably never been seen for a Shahrukh Khan film outside nothing films like Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke and Maya Memsaab.

The second weekend collections are a little higher than Paheli (2005) but lower than Swades (2004). These are flop films over a decade back. The film is looking at a 62 crore nett close and a distributor share of 30 crore. Its a complete mess up by the director and how. The collections of Jab Harry Met Sejal till date are as follows

First Week - 57,63,00,000

Friday - 75,00,000

Saturday - 1,00,00,000

Sunday - 1,00,00,000

Second Weekend - 2,75,00,000

Grand Total - 60,38,00,000

Mubarakan earned 6 crores in 2nd weekend even with big release like JHMS. JHMS was one of the worst movies of SRK's career.

BOI refuses to admit that no film with a non holiday weekend has EVER crashed by 94%.

That JHMS first weekend was artificially pumped up.

BUT EVERYBODY KNOWS!

one of the biggest disasters ever!!

all of a sudden i feel i am back in 2004..the way movies of those times are being mentioned..coz JHMS collections are so abysmal to be compared to SRK movies of today's times..

i never saw it doing that well..but the way it has crashed and crashed and crashed was something I doubt anyone would have ever imagined..

Reshma Shetty did a good job ...she paid the critics and twitter bots to bring down JHMS first day itself so movie would crash from bad WOM and most screens would become free for Toilet, shes a Genius

The movie was not as disgustingly bad as some people made it out to be.

Akki hired Shetty precisely for this purpose...now nobody can stop him from bringing down all the Khans plus he has Govt backing

you do realize that WOM does not come from these few online tweets you see only..they come from all those people who go see these movies as well..

not all of those are paid..FYI..i happen to be one of those 90% as well who did not like the movie..now please don't ask me how much reshma shetty paid me..

if only on some bought tweets a movie..that too of a superstar could flop this bad..it would have happened long ago with Chennai Express..when akki's OUATIMD was releasing right after it..

WOM is the king and this WOM is not only a few tweets online..it is way more than that..now reshma shetty paid 90% of the population to dislike the movie? we are going a bit too far..lets accept it was not liked by majority and it tanked..
