faux pass numero uno - doesn't Katrina (not intended to mock u,just that her name spring to mind) fall under the same bracket?Majority of her hits r with big stars...fans ka kya hai they move on to the younger one as actress become old...and even Karishma had hits with stars...

So has Anushka done non-bubbly roles. It is just that her less bubbly roles like Sultan and NH10 are ignored while OTT stupid roles like ADHM is overhyped in this forum, hence she gets bashed.
talking about Priety vs Katrina, see as an actor there is no comparison at all. As an star, no Priety was never the darling of masses like Katrina. Faux numero uno because after she won FF fot KHNH media started overrating her. As for Katrina, yes you can attribute it to being the Babhi of the launde lapandes, Indians being fair skin obsessed, Katrina's pairing with superstars and so on. but the bottom line is Katrina had mass acceptance while Priety was more of a media superstar than being an actual one.
