Why does Ranbir only sell in manchild characters ?

According to this forum, the solar system is lucky that Ranbir has graced it with his acting skills, people forget the origin of everybody's existence when it comes to praising his acting skills.

Actors become star or their movies do well when audience can identify themselves with the character and gradually the actors build a image.

For example Salman has this golden heart, fearless guy who beat up guys. So when he tried to play Tubelight character it failed. He has this fan following who are like macho or like to think themselves as macho or ladki patao type just like Salman himself said Laundey lapades.

It's a fact.

Similarly Ranbir has this fan following of guys and girls who like metro-sexual chikna type guys and who always break their heart falling and cry over it and love to think themselves as Devdas. Girls be like oh sucha passionate lover.
They love his onscreen character as they identify with it or want it.


So he sells only when he plays manchild.
