just admit it she DONT have it in her to shine in such tough and demanding different characters.

She is EXCELLENT in her comfort zone but that makes her LIMITED ACTRESS.

Manisha is a director's actress

brilliant in some

horribly OTT in many

i just watched anmol that day and that was cringeworthy overacting..so there is music in the background and at each beat the face would turn and a different expression would pop out

but then may be it was just the time

but even in movies like mann etc she was so bad and hammy

karisma again suffered the same..beautiful in some..horribly OTT in many..

so in that way..all had their limitations

surely kajol might not have done fiza, zubeida, bombay..these actresses nailed it

but surely karisma manisha would have never done a DDLJ..KKHH..K3G..Dushman..the way kajol did those

Salman always acts as Salman. Kajol always acts as Kajol.

When the character matches the real persona, we get Bhajrangi Bhaijaan, KKKG.

If the characters demand them to be anything different, they refuse. (Reasons given would be, "I could not relate with the character", "my audience do not prefer to see me in such a role" etc).

Despite all these, if they act in such challenging roles, we get MNIK or Tubelight.

I am sorry but those performances are not even half as precious as what manisha did in dil se, khamoshi, bombay etc. I would add other actresses too, but lets just go with manisha here

well said, kajol, salman and kareena all products of nepotism mainly tend to play themselves onscreen!

kajol was never even known for dancing at the first place..

this is such an exaggeration now

we are talking about kajol not mamta kulkarni

she played (may be similar) but very pivotal roles..she did FAR more in DDLJ..K3G..KKHH..than just dancing around the trees

Well nothing wrong in being limited actress or being one dimensional...

Its better to excel in one thing than being average or failing in doing multiple things.

i never called her a dancer, even rishi kapoor danced around trees, doesn't mean he is hrithik roshan😆
