The nepotism debate has garnered steam again due to some jokes cracked by Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan and Saif Ali Khan during IIFA 2017 at New York.

While the people involved have apologized, Sonam Kapoor decided to give her two cents on the matter by posting the definition of nepotism on Twitter. She posted it twice though, for reasons unknown. Also by tweeting just the meaning of the word, we don't know which side she's really on. Maybe, that's for the best?

Because she was made fun of for the first tweet. For copying the meaning from google but mispelling nepotism as nepotisim. 😆

Spelling it as Nepotisim is obviously a typo. It is quite possible she typed the word herself quickly and just copied the meaning off from google.

Yet people will go batshit crying about how Sonam cant get grade 5 spellings right.

And what is Sonam trying to imply through her tweets?

She capitalised the words 'relatives' and 'friends' in the definition of nepotism - meaning she didn't benefit from nepotism because she wasn't given any jobs by her relatives.
