Spelling it as Nepotisim is obviously a typo. It is quite possible she typed the word herself quickly and just copied the meaning off from google.

Yet people will go batshit crying about how Sonam cant get grade 5 spellings right.

Also Sonam did get an entry into Bollywood because she was part of the inner circle. Now I think SLB did see something he liked if not regarding her talent about her looks. He's very much into aesthetic.

So she did benefit from it.

But the thing is it only brought her that far. It didn't help her get a YRF (Bewakoofyan wasn't worth anything and she got it only after Raanjhanaa and BMB successes).

The only Dharma movie she got was a little romcom alongside Imran at a time the only young A-list actors around were Deepika, Ranbir, Sonam, Imran and Anushka. Kangana was still considered B-list and risqu.

The movies she did with her sister were made together by the two girls on small budget...

All in all, being an insider, Sonam never hindered her contemporaries careers by taking away their roles or anything. Anushka, Deepika and even Kangana managed to make names for themselves and get work.

well there are enough movies made to co-exist for sure

plus these are women with different strengths and weaknesses

nepotism or not..no one can ever dream of taking a sonam for queen

or an alia for Neerja

or a sonam for piku or udta punjab

they all are not as interchangable as may be actresses were in 90s with the kind of roles being written

so sonam hindering anyone's career..let alone sonam..no one can do that..there would always be a top bracket of 3-4 actresses who can very well co-exist..
