Watched Jagga Jasoos just now.

First the positive things. The story was good and interesting. The second half was more good than the first half. Acting wise, everyone was good. This can't be called one of the best performances of Ranbir but still he was good and he looked so handsome. I loved the reunion scene of Jagga and Tooti Phuti. The actor who played Tooti Phuti was also brilliant. Kat's role had not much scope for acting. She was good in the movie. But the best part for me is Ranbir-Katrina jodi. They looked so good together. They have beautiful chemistry. It's sad that we may not be able to see this beautiful jodi again onscreen. I so wish they keep aside their personal differences and work with each other again in future. This movie has too many songs but not a single romantic song between these two. All the locations in India as well as abroad are beautiful. This movie deserves to win best cinematography award.

Now the negative things. The concept was good but was not well executed. The direction was really bad. If Ranbir really blamed the director, he is not completely wrong. I myself felt bored after a certain point of time. There were some scenes which were not needed and should have been edited. The movie was too lengthy. First half had more songs and less dialogues which really bored me. If the songs were melodious it would have been great but they were bland and boring. Glad there were only few songs in the second half. The movie's length is one of it's drawback.

They hinted for a sequel but I don't think there's going to be part 2 after seeing the BO collections. I hope it's collections improve slowly. It can't be superhit but it doesn't deserve to flop too. Hope it at least turns out to be semi hit.
