Who feels that there is something weird happening with sonus voice??? - Page 2

I think the scale is too low for Sonu. Not sure. As I said I know nil. For all I know the scale may be high. But he is ruining the song tbh. Never expected this from him.

The thing is, I've been following sonu for a long time now and I've never heard him go off sur even live. He does a lot of variations live and sometimes they always sound good. You may or may not like his texture but where training and basic science of music is concerned he is a god. So for him to sound the way he is.. feel like definitely something more is altered. You can't just unlearn years of music that you've learnt. He is a legend for a reason!!

Nope. He is singing at a very high scale coz parineetis scale is too low for him and he is emoting at that scale so the voice is coming 'daba daba'.. if that's the right word. But to be honest, I just feel like he sang it at a particular scale and then someone just pushed it up using technology or something like that. No idea what happened but if u listen to the last stanza ull realise that he suddenly switches from high to low and goes off sur. what's up with that? It's not a bad day for him coz he is a god in sur and tail. He can't make a mistake like that. If you see his earlier songs he switches very effortlessly from low to high. If you see his live.. it's at another level all together. Just go to YouTube and type sonu vs arijit or Atif live and you'll see the difference. It's just with all his controversies is it possible that someone is trying to alter his songs??

Hey I do love Sonu Nigam. He is my favourite among the singers who are still active. I know he's a master at singing live and that's what really matters right. Hell I'll place him just 2 spaces below Rahat Fateh Al Khan.

I'm all for conspiracies but I don't think that a music director will do this to their own song. Then again who knows since they released the song so late and film is already a flop.

Song's still good and has soul. That's one thing with Sonu singing soul is never missing. While Arijit gives me a headache.

But sur bahut hi zyada hile hue hain in this song.

Hell I'll place him a little higher than Rahat. Rahat at high notes becomes too loud. The emotion goes. And where versatility is concerned sonu is way more versatile. He has sung everything including jazz and blues. But yeh Kay tha? Anyways so much fun discussing this with you. So glad to vent out yaar

Wow.. never heard of these songs before. What language are they in? Anyways nice to meet you. Heard you are a big fan of Sonu. So am i.. since a long time now. Wish we could hear him more often now. His voice is just magic!!
