Didnt read the reviews for Tubelight but the only critic who is objective and makes sense is Baradwaj Rangan everyone else is biased towards fav or bashing actors if they have the opportunity. The movie as a whole is much more important than the performance of an actor they mostly spend writing about actors performances than the movie itself.

Oh please I am not even good at hindi but I know it's a slang. It's certainly not a word one uses with respect or not something that can be associated with civility. If I were Salman I would have been extra careful to address thousands of fans who literally worship me and provides me living.

Right Fleur. I have explained on so many threads that this is used for lukkha boys who stand on paan ki dukaan and eve tease girls. Nukkad pe launde laphade khade hote hai.

Request to NEUTRAL FANS (Genuine) and SALMAN FANS

There is my Friend / Collegue who went to watch the Film & LOVED IT . She is NOT a Salman Fan . Was not even Planning to go to watch Tubelight coz of Negative reviews . But her Cousin dragged her to made her see the movie . Naturally se had Zero Expectation with the Film & Salman . And U know What she said to me ? Yeh Ratings dene waalo ko Rate karna nahi aata kya ? Had I not went to watch the Film ..I would have missed the Beautiful Film . LITERALLY these were her words . She was so angry with Critics for misleading audience .

So This is just ONE example . I am sure there are so many who are sitting and stopping themselves from watching it Just coz of reviews . What I want to say that DON'T Trust Reviews and G & watch the Film & Decide urself whether the Film was Good or Bad . Just Coz of Reviews & Coz of Hatred for Salman don't miss the beautiful Film which have such a beautiful message .

Rest is all Ur Wish . But Personally I LOVED Tubelight So I really want as many as people to see it coz it is a Wonderful Film with Heart Touching Emotional story .

Main thing is that Salman's Staement triggered those Paid Critics . And They planned this Negative Campaign against him which somewhat they got successful in it . I wish & Pray that it backfires on them and TL becomes Hit / Superhit atleast .

This message is to bi I'm sorry your opinion on Salman I can't agree or others who don't like him and don't agree that his Acting or the movie this bad but that some in India may not like as its no entertainer and no romance but a simple story !!
Plus I know you praise any other actor then him and make excuse on them i.e. Katrina is an example anywayd that's it

Moni - Read my first comment on P 77 of TL BO about dominoes effect of bad reviews.

Negative reviews had huge impact on ticket sale of TL. I saw the effect from Friday as I was involved in business.

But greater damage was WOM. Typical Sallu fans are also complaining of not getting their usual Bhai-dose of Eid.

I think the trend started with Bombay Velvet and now it is effecting all stars.

I don't know how BB was rated by the critics. Didn't pay attention to the reviews. Like I said, I mostly base my judgement on watching a movie solely based on how I like the trailer and what I hear about the movie, not based on a review.

That comment I made above, was in general, critics included along with general public.

It may be my individual perception, but that's how I feel when I read reviews that are posted on this forum, of people/critics focused on mocking Salman no matter what he does or attempts.

If you didn't know then why post the blanket statement.. If Critics were actually harsh on Salman they could have nitpicked Salman in Bajrangi too. Truth is, he got his due when critics thought he deserve one. Not saying, critics are always right,,, they are harsh on other actors too whom we thought did good job in the movie...

Anyways, what is the point of discussion when we have been hearing "who cares about Critics, Salman is enough to make any movie Blockbuster."
