Hmmm, I kinda agree with whoever wrote this article. Salman's movies, irrespective of how good or bad they are, are trashed for only one and one reason. Because it is SALMAN's movie. If anyone else were to churn out the same kinda movie that Salman does, it would be praised to no end.

Salman is hated by many, especially the critics, because he cares two hoots for their nonsense. These critics know zilch and spew nothing but bakwaas all the time, so why should one even care for what they think or say?

Many years ago, I used to read reviews before watching movies. Then when I would go and watch the movie myself, I would wonder what the critic was even smoking when they wrote whatever they wrote. Stopped reading reviews since then. They are totally and completely worthless, IMO.

What exactly is the point of this article?
I posted in the other thread too - if an actor has performed in a movie, critics are obviously going to judge his performance. What is so shocking about it? Not everyone is going to be a Salman fan and laud him for taking a "risk". That is a personal decision and should have nothing to do with how the movie has eventually shaped up.

Either reviews are calling him the only bearable part of a bad movie, or the worst thing about an already bad movie. Tubelight can't escape the bad tag, however you look at it!

I'm glad someone gets my point on why I posted this ..

🤔
Since when did critics drown a Bhai movie ? This movie did not connect with his fans because he actually tried to act. The other audience who goes to the movies for acting did not connect with his "acting".

Critics and Reviews have lost their meaning, just like Awards.
KRK is a verified critic on Twitter - this is standard of our critics now a days.

You can clearly see which Critic is paid and who did not get money.

I don't even look at commercial reviews, I will trust reviews of members here. Both fans and non fans give good reviews.

Give me a biased fan review any day over these paid critics.

How about Bajrangi Bhaijaan? Was that movie also trashed by critics? I saw mostly 4 or 5 stars for that movie.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan was loved by the critics and non-fans too...I watched BB in theaters after years of not watching a Sallu movie in theaters...it was that good...😛

The point isn't that bajrangi was an expection to the rule otherwise critics trash but I won't say they trash his every movie because he's gotten 3-4 on other movies too even here he has but it's trade more so to me when they praise prdp or even jai ho which I can say honestly this is better than that even then kick in recent times , it's strange and it comes at a time when he made a bold statement that critics don't matter like his awards don't matter and I guess he pissed trade because they no matter what don't report like or this too early
or more so trade critics the ass kissers not the pseudo critics like sen ,etc..them doing it who cares it makes me wonder ...

It was the only movie of Salman that wasn't trashed because a movie like that comes once in awhile in bollywood. Total paisa vasool, bollywood-ish type. It was an adorable movie and was unanimously liked by even haters of Salman.

Then why did you post the blanket statement? Truth is, critics gave him credit when he deserved. Most of his movies are not praiseworthy anyway. They are simply mass movies which entertained people but nothing praiseworthy. So, it is not like he never got his due from critics. Else, he wouldn't have gotten unanimous praise from everybody for BB.
