BB was rated very highly... But it was not an exception

Dabang was rated well... Most of the critics loved it... Even dabang 2 the criticism was directed at arbaaz's direction with most concluding that salman made the film entertaining

Sultan was rated good.. I think 3-3.5 out of 5 was it's average rating

Hell, even kick.. I remember the same raja sen loving the film and i was thinking isse kya ho gaya

... Whats with this critics hate salman jaap... They have rated most of films very well... Ek film ki rating giri toh conspiracy theories nikal aayi

Why cant it be gracefully taken into stride that it was a blunder to take on such a role which demanded good acting skills? Go back to your masala genre. Critics praised him during Bajrangi Bhaijan and to some extent in ETT also. But here it was pathetic, so why not say the same?

Isme itna zyada react karni ki kya baat hai?

Remember every time thrash wont work, there is saturation level.

He rightly got what he deserved for this movie. He acted bad and critics called him out on his bad performance. It happens to any actor who gives a bad performance. Suck it up and move on. Or at the very least Bhai should read them and try to actually give a fair performance in TZH because the man is capable of giving decent performances.

Well that's the authors thinking and I tend to agree with it regarding this movie in particular and
I think its because this time SAlman opened his mouth saying critics don't matter even when they rated the last two movies very well and I don't deny and agree with what you have said in terms in their ratings but to give prdp or even Jai ho high ratings over this movie I question it and even kick ( though that to me was highly entertaining as it had great songs action romance and SAlman looking dashing but story wise this was better

see you are looking in isolation... Ki story was better than X, therefore rating should be higher...

But story, direction and acting go hand in hand... A good versatile actor can lift a bad material and bad performance can sink a good story unless the direction covers it up superbly

As much as i joke ki salman ne saalon se acting nahin ki, obviously koi 25-30 saal toh industry mein nahin rahega without any skills... So for me atleast the more accurate thing is that salman is a limited actor... This story was beyond his acting range (imho but acting is subjective)

The story might have a great message but deliver bhi sahi tareeke se hona chahiye... For example - non violence is not a new theme but no one did it in a more heartwarming and entertaining manner than hirani in munnabhai...

Hence just bec the theme of the movie is good, it does not become good
