May be I should watch MNIK again ... I hated that movie didn't like SRK character portray at all. After reading reviews , I am glad that SRK did a good job and it's just me who didn't like it. I am up to watch again if it changes my opinion this time.

None of them! The only two characters I have literally adored and swooned would be Sridevi in Sadma and Tom cruise in Rainman.

He played a person with Asperger's syndrome on the high-functioning side of the autism spectrum. Sheldon Cooper from the big bang theory is also believed to have Aspergers.

Perhaps this topic should be renamed developmental disability. And honestly, Kalki in Margarita with a straw, PC in Barfi, and the little girl in Anjali have given the most honest and realistic performances.

What kind of a nonsense topic is this...Autism cannot be lumped up with intellectual disability...People here need to educate themselves about what they were going to post at least! 👎🏼
Rizwaan in MNIK and ( PC) in Barfi are two people with perfect intelligence and mental abilities but wired to think totally in a different manner than their neuro typical counterparts!

Autism is not an Illness...the most you can call it is 'disability' that too for the lack of a better term that the so called normal people can understand since they have tough time understanding and accepting anybody who is different from themselves!

It was Dustin Hoffman who'd played the role of savant inspired by Kim Peek in The Rainman, not Tom Cruise.

Its highly disappointing when people wont even bother to educate themselves about the difference between mental disability and developmental disability...
