^^ Yep political too. Same goes for Sanjay. His dad was a politician which helped decelerate the severity of the crime for him even if it was for possession of arms. Imagine a mere mortal found in possession of an unlicensed AK 47... that's life imprisonment handed on a platter.
Sanjay and Salman have been let off very easy.
I still do not understand why a biopic needs to be made on Sanjay...

Biopic will hopefully show his mistakes and not whitewash his image.

His life is interesting - Famous parents, stardom and still became addict. How easy it is to fall in wrong lane and spoil your life.

You'd be forgiven for believing that evidence matters in a court case. 😆

We don't have to imagine... It happened

Sanjay helped terrorists store weapons smuggled from Pakistan and bought weapons from them for himself, but was set free with relatively less prison sentence..

Poor munna chose galat rasta and galat friends, that's all

Phone calls between them shows that he knew what the terrorists were doing (Those phone calls were never produced in court)

He was out in parole several times. Above all no TADA slapped on him

Two ordinary people from lower strata of society, who merely helped him store the weapons for a short period of time in their house were booked under tada and still in jail

Why don't Bhai's lawyers just close the case by showing the box office collections of his movies in the court??

His life is far from interesting...put him in jail first...then I'll enjoy the movie with popcorn. All that made up BS of- 23 years in jail- I am not going to lap up even if Ranbir is in the movie.
It isn't a story of an innocent man falling prey to addiction, or corrupted moral conscience...abetting terrorism is more serious than that. For assumption sake, even if he was not an active participant, it was self-defense, but he was in the company of people whose intent he didn't question.
