It has been a while since we saw the
lovely Urmila Matondkar on the big screen.
The gorgeous actress was last in the news
for her marriage with the handsome
Kashmiri businessman Mohsin Akhtar
Mir. Urmila tied the knot with Mohsin in a
private ceremony in Mumbai in March last
year. The wedding ceremony, which took
place as per Hindu rituals at Urmila's home,
was attended by close friends and family.
Well, news now has it that Mrs Mir is all
geared up to grace the big screen once
again. That's right, Urmila, who is one of the
graceful dancers of Bollywood is apparently
all set to perform an item number in an
Irrfan Khan starrer. Buzz is that Urmila is
excited about the dance number and is
looking forward to the shoot.
On the work front, Urmila was last seen in
the 2014 Marathi movie Ajoba. The power
house actress first rose to fame with the
Ram Gopal Verma movie Rangeela. She is
remembered for her powerful performances
in movies such as Judaai, Satya, Kaun, Pyaar
Tune Kya Kiya, Bhoot, and Ek Hasina Thi. The
gorgeous actress also featured as a talent
judge for the TV reality show Jhalak Dikhhla
Jaa Season 2.
Urmila also has given us some groovy
dances in numbers such as Kambakht Ishq,
Shabba Shabba, Tanha Tanha and Chamma
Chamma among others.
Urmila recently joined the virtual world with
her Instagram debut, much to the
excitement of her fans. Since then, the
actress has been posting pictures and
messsages on her social networking handle.
Urmila's most recent post was a sweet wish
for Ramadan. She wrote, "#ramadan month
of #peace #forgiveness #generosity and self
reflection. Wishing everyone a peaceful n
blessed month Happy Ramadan."
