I don't mind Arjun Kapoor but the book was so awful I didn't bother finishing it 😆
I reckon the only reason I'll catch this (on tv) would be to see how Mohit's laced the songs/bkg score throughout the film-he's usually good with music.

Half Girlfriend Day 2 Collections and Lifetime Prediction

Half Girlfriend hasn't shown enough growth on its second day at the box office, with mass centres falling after a good first day and multiplexes not showing the kind of growth they usually do on Saturday.

After a good opening day, business was expected to grow as there were no IPL matches in the night - but it's the other two films in theatres, the older release Bahubali 2' and this week's Hindi Medium' that seem to be the preferred choice of the multiplex audience. The two films have also cut into the business of Half Girlfriend'.

The two-day collections are now at Rs 20.90 crore (Friday 10.27 crore, Saturday 10.63 crore). The first weekend business is likely to be around the 32-33 crore mark. Monday will now be extremely crucial if , as the film needs to hold over 5 crore and then sustain over the remaining weekdays, if it has to end with a respectable lifetime total.

IndicineLBO: We expect Half Girlfriend to finish with lifetime business of Rs 60 crore, which will be average' collections for one of the bigger releases so far this year. There's competition in Week 2 from Sachin: A Billion Dreams' and a Hollywood release. Half Girlfriend will need to get to a total upwards of 65 crore to be declared a success.

Very disappointing movie...I will give it 1.5 stars

Arjun Kapoor was a complete misfit...Shradha Kappor looked hot but thats about it. She was ok in the movie. AK role was tailor fit for someone like Ranbir...Ranbir would have set the screen on fire.

Issues i had with the movie
1. Casting
2. I could not believe a person who studies in St Stevens for 3 years can't speak English. Utter crap.
3. Bill Gates scenes...one of the worst scene ever...It was suppose to be emotional scene but people in hall were laughing courtesy Bill gates sly smile.
4. No emotional connect. When people thought Arjun should have hooked up with other girl(don't know her name) in New York you know there is no chemistry between two leads.

I would say avoid. Watch it on TV.
