Agree with you.. Even I couldn't take Devasena accepting the chains and waiting for the son to come rescue her.. That must be only because she wouldn't want to die under the evilness of Bhallaladeva and his team.. She would want justice and would want them to be punished for their acts.. Maybe she tried but wasn't equipped enough to fight all alone.. They could have shown how she tried with the people's support but nothing helped.. Then she's only tortured but she must have taken it voluntarily to wait for a lesson to Bhallaladeva.. But yeah Mahendra is the answer because nothing else stings Bhallaladeva as bad as seeing a newer version of Amarendra.. 😉

I was crying but still I remembered each and everything.
It was so sad but at the same time it was screen played beautifully.

The position of Bahu when he breathed his last showed a king is a king even during the last breath.

The only scene which I hated and felt not necessary was Bhalla stabbing Bahu after his death.
That's the only scene I hated Bhalla. (Yes, I dint hate Bhalla before that)

When Bhallal's gold statue was erected and people shouted Bahubali instead, the expression of Devsena deserved a bow. The same thing happened when bhalla became the king and people cheered Bahubali's name.

Bhallal's only desire was to keep devsena hostage. Being Bahubali's wife, and also that she rejected him, made him worse to her.

One of the biggest weakness of Bahu is that he dint stand up for himself. He dint fight for what he deserved. He fought for everyone but not for himself. 😕

Agreed! He was too selfless n ppl took advantage of that.

That was a great scene and another great scene was when Jr Bahu killed Rudra and people bowed to the new king in town.

The proud mother's expeession. Sweety was terrific.

I was talking with my friend after watching BB1 regarding sweety's screen space in BB1. I was disappointed.

But after BB2 we were like "we are dumb to not understand how powerful Devasena was when we watched BB1"

We should have thought "if she is like this now (when she is tied and tortured) how was she than.
Devasena character was a pleasant surprise to me in the movie.

that is the part where Bhalla's pent up emotions were out! Being seconded everywhere only because of Amarendra! all that anger and frustration came out. He knew that he could not do that when he is alive! so he did that after he died!

whenever D's face was shown as Bhalla hacked his body, a fire, a rage and hot tears in my eyes.. I never knew I could become so emotional watching a movie😭😡🤢

Lol. That is possible because he's their common friend. I've always felt SSR is the hanuman in DS case. Bahubali could be the "Setu bandhan"... crazy as it sounds but I think so I mean SSR has not repeated his heroines I wonder why S ? I know she's perfect for the role hands downs and her chemistry with D is out of this world but if SSR wanted to he could bring in someone else or introduce a new actor. SSR is the sculptor given any piece of rock he's sure to make a masterpiece out of it...could he have sensed something after Mirchi ?? Hmmm...

I always get emotional reading books and watching movies.
I cried buckets even during Mirchi movie.

When deva says all those hurtful things to Jai 😭

Coming to Bb, may be like you said the scene was necessary to show how Bhalla is because frankly before that scene I did not feel extreme emotions towards Bhalla. I mean Anger/ hate wasn't there in me.

In fact I was more angry on his son for the way he talked and behaved with deva.
