There many yesteryear legendary actresses who're brilliant in crying, but I couldn't find their GIFs. Shabana Azmi's last speech on Neerja's 1st death anniversary, gotta be the best heartbreaking scene in recent years. Then there's Smita Patil. Rakhee in the title track of Kabhi Kabhi was brilliant and so on!

Vidya, Kajol, Madhuri, Sri, Priyanka, Kangana, Aish , Tabu ... They are all amazing in emotional scenes..
From today's actresses its Alia who is absolutely natural .. She made me cry in DZ..
Also, I think emotional scenes / crying is the real test for an actress.. The one who cries most naturally is truly a good actress..

Tabu is brilliant in emotional scenes...

in Astitva...she is absolutely amazing here...

in Maqbool ,the scene between her and Irfan before the climax...finest acting from an actress in Indian cinema...

in Drishyam's climax too...

have seen variations in her emotional scenes more than any other actress...

I honestly thought Preity Zinta's emotions while hugging her mother-in-law in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna were very natural. I got goosebumps seeing her.

Kajol - one of the best for me. Her emotional scenes in KKHH always get me. When Rahul confronts Anjali right before tujhe yaad na meri aaye..Kajol's tearing up was so effortless and real.

From the current lot - Alia. I'm glad some others feel the same way because in both Kapoor and Sons as well as Dear Zindagi..her crying was on point. Her breakdown scene in DZ was the highlight of the entire movie I'd say. She made me tear up. She's a natural with crying and emoting such feelings of heartbreak.
