I remember watching Hera pheri for the first time.. I had the loudest laughter.. such a great time.. hangama was great too but nothing beats Hera pheri

Govinda has so many of these gems... his late 90s movies were hillerous.

Watch juro ka gulam, jes desh main Ganga rehta hai, kanwara, jodi number #1, hero # 1.. so many..

I thought we r talking about 2000s and above..

1. Some Priyadarashan comedies are my favorites: Hulchul, Chup chup ke, Malamal Weekly, Bhool Bhulaiyya. Its always fun to watch Om puri/Paresh Rawal/Rajpal Yadav/Asrani do what they do best 😃.

2. Also I will never forget the casual comedy in Golmaal 1. 4 nikamma college students enter a house of two blind elderly people. Nothing of much significance happens but I kept on laughing at the situations.

3. Another guilty pleasure is Houseful 1.😆

4. No Entry- For me this film belonged to Anil Kapoor. He was a riot! Fardeen and Bips were also great IMO.

5. Chennai Express- One of my all time favorite films, not just comedies.

In DHP most funny was the way all were running after Rimi Sen and the formula
