There used to be a stand up comedy show on Star one channel way back in the 00s. It was quite a popular show then and lot of the jokes said by the contestants then we're vulgar and double meaning type.

Before that there used to be a show on Sony called Movers and Shakers hosted by Shekhar Suman in the 90s. That also consisted of vulgar jokes. At that time people hardly paid attention to these jokes and watched these shows only for entertainment. I wish there was uproar then.

vulgar jokes are one thing but when parents are involved in such jokes it goes beyond vulgar. The shows you have mentioned didn’t involve parents in such vulgarity while throwing jokes around. The uproar here is because of the involvement of parents in their lame sex jokes
