why is it weird ? seeing how her husband has signed 4 movies on the trot , maybe she feels the need to give attention to her daughter even more.

Further I dont think she would do flower pot roles now

I personally think a aishwarya wanted to focus on her father's health recently as reason to why she wasn't signing any movies of late. And now her father has passed (may he Rest In Peace), time will only tell if Aishwarya is completely ready to go back to films. That's only if she's emotionally capable. One truly never heals from a lost of a parent.

her few solo outings flopped, and adhm was an average affair.

Abhi has supposedly signed 4 films so she will not work. I think they both alternate working to give Ara some sense of normalcy.

her dad died when? maybe in a few months bt who knows she does what she wants when she wants too. she did quite a fee movies. she and abhi might just be rotating to be there with their child
