The Dance of Envy- Was Karishma better than Madhuri?

I've seen people on IF say that Karishma stole the show in the Dance of Envy in Dil To Pagal Hai.

Do you think this was really the case?

I thought they both danced equally well, even though Madhuri is usually more comfortable with Indian dance forms, so perhaps this was not her comfort zone.

I find MD to be overrated. I liked kk in this movie and ash is devdas. Compared to them she appears fat and less energetic. Also her dresses in this movie was too tight and awkward.

Madhuri was better dancer.

If you see, Karishma's hands are little 'uncontrolled'.. they aren't as graceful or 'together' with her rest of the body. When you dance the rhythm should reach to your fingertips ...Madhuri is good from head to toe, head to fingers, she is 'together' ...doesn't look all over the place, but Karishma looks SLIGHTLY unrefined in her dance or all over the place because of her hand movements. Madhuri "completes" her every dance move from head to toes and fingers - she is refined, just look at both of their hands.

Madhuri also has this ease/grace despite the ...aerobic exercise type dance moves.

Overall se, both are good, this isn't SYTYCD anyway 😛

Also, just realised what the boys around Madhuri were wearing! :D 🤣

Me too ! After seeing the comment i watched it again LMAO !!

Anyways, though madhuri is a good dancer as per popular opinion but karishma's steps were so energitic & flexible and gave a tough competition to madhuri...

Karishma's dance movements were more energetic but she lacked finesse and precision which Madhuri's movements had.

Most importantly, Madhuri's facial expressions matched her body movements, her dance was more dramatic than Karishma's

Karishma did dance SLIGHTLY better. Still overall I think Madhuri is a better dancer. Because even though she got slightly outperformed here. Karishma in her life wouldn't come close to matching Madhuri in "kahe ched ched mohi".
