When it comes to acting, I think alia can do a lot. However, with her baby face I don't think she can look the part. Maybe a few years down the line when she's older and has had a chance to grow into her face, maybe she can go for period dramas.

As for Mastani, even DP did a pretty bad job at it, she so looked dead the entire time, no passion or love seemed evident that should be in some "great love story". I think the character of Mastani was just underdeveloped in general as well

But Deepika wasn't great either. After Tamasha and Piku, that performance came as a shock to me. She was back to giving those big eyed blank and dead expressions which she gave at the starting of her career. She was simply bad in the movie.

Hell NO!

Why only Mastani... I have a hard time picturing Alia in historical roles or for that matter any role where the character is required to have some poise/grace (Deepika is the queen of it btw)

I would be happy if Alia puts a slap across my face by doing a kamaal ka historical role...

But I really really dont see her fitting that genre.😆

I love this girl but I can't tell her. What if she gets married and then I get married. Then she gets divorced. I'm still married. What about my wife. What if she finds out I love someone else. What am I gonna tell her. What about the kids 😆
