TVf should have said that we will check into the allegations. How do you know that he is innocent before conducting an investigation.

With so many people claiming that he harassed them it is looking more and more believable.

It may sound like I'm already saying he is guilty but i find it heartening that so many women are coming forward. Even if they didn't say it when it happened to them, they are now speaking out. Changing times and attitude

I can't believe people are brushing away these allegations even after being affirmed by multiple sources. The reason being, he's very established and successful. But you forget, they are the ones who have most power to manipulate and have their own way with juniors. The imbalance in power is the key point and men do take advantage of it if they have a superior position in the hierarchy. And I have seen it many a time.

I work at a university and one of the chief administrative officers was sacked a few months back because he was misbehaving with undergraduate girls. He was well known to misuse his position of power until one girl came out and complained, which opened the tailgates to many many more complaints from others. He was able to dupe the girls into believing he had the power to change their course grades and non of them wanted to refuse his advances.

And to think such things even happen at a university setting.

My point is, this man most probably took advantage of his power to misbehave with these women. What's sad is how people not believing these allegations because he's a successful public figure and seemingly a great guy.
This kind of thinking is the reason women are still at the mercy of these perverts.

exactly. and to think of what media did to the guys and what they had to suffer/still suffering is pathetic. these kind of cases actually make people doubt every allegation, afterall how do one differentiate between real or fake allegations?

but looking at the number of people sharing same kind of experiences , it does look genuine. then again who knows ?

Affleck won his Oscar. Reputed, professional colleagues accusing and he has tried to buy their silence. But.

Tejpal. Video, yet apologists were out .

Manik Katyal- 36 women came out with text messages and what not. But psst.

Heck a , Subhash Kapoor can get away with all this.

This guy- more than 8 women have come out. Most of them are well-placed professionals who have put their integrity and reputation on the line. But we will not buy their word but will ask for "proof" because their account is not conclusive , like to record advances at work , should mean we need to walk with tape-recorders, video-recorders etc , always". Oh, but the guy should sue all these women for defamation because it is always a big conspiracy.

I asked for defamation coz that's the only way any "justice" would be served, unless these well placed professionals would take him to court.
