Koffee Awards Winners List : Salman,Kat,RK wins Top Honours

Karan Johars Koffee with Karan season 5 has been one of the most entertaining seasons yet. Not only did Karan bring his A-game to the fore, but the guests did too! From Shah Rukh Khan to Katrina Kaif, Mira Rajput, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh, Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra, all the celebs made some or the other interesting revelations during the show. In fact, Kangana even went all out against Karan and called him "the flag bearer of nepotism" and a "movie mafia." However, controversies aside, KWK has been a enjoyable experience which we loved to see every week. But as you all know, all good things end!

So Koffee with Karan season 5 came to an end today and to cap of such a successful season, Karan Johar brought a new twist. He introduced the Koffee with Karan Awards, which is much better than any other Bollywood award (or that's what he said). And as any award ceremony, a jury will have decide the winners right? So to announce the nominations and decide the appropriate winners, KJo called Neha Dhupia, Malaika Arora, Ayan Mukerji and Rohan Joshi to the show to do the honours. Various categories and nominations were revealed during the episode but it was Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan who bagged all the top awards. The Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar war became the talk of the town since she called him a movie mafia and flagbearer of nepotism.
Post the infamous episode, Karan was asked about Ranaut's comments. He stated, "I am done with Kangana playing the woman card and the victim card. You can't be a victim at every point of time who has a sad story to say as to how you have been terrorised by the bad world of industry. If that's the case, leave it."

Post these quotes by Karan, Kangana wrote an open letter in a leading tabloid stating, "I can't speak for Karan Johar's understanding of nepotism. If he thinks that it is restricted to nephews, daughters and cousins, I have nothing to say. But, to say that he chose not to give me work is to mock an artiste. As importantly, his memory appears to be poor because we worked together in a movie (Ungli), which was produced by him. And quickly realised our sensibilities did not match."

When Karan was asked about his opinion, he stated, "I am all about giving it to Kangana. She wanted to make me her nemesis. If she writes her autobiography, I would be the bad guy. I am all about understanding her perspective. Though, I may not agree."
During the best episode declaration, the jury was all for Khan brothers and Ranbir Kapoor-Ranveer Singh episode. But eventually, the Khans won.
While signing off, Karan said, "I was all for Ranbir and Ranveer but it was not me, who was deciding it. And, hey I am not nepotistic. If you notice, the students (Alia, Varun and Sidharth) didn't score, so how does that make me nepotistic. Alia went home with nothing, Sidharth didn't an award. Varun won one. So, hello I am being fair. "

When Kangana's episode, which was THE BEST, not considered for the best performer female - you lost credibility right there. So STFU, LoserJo.

Interestingly all industry kids won, except the almost two time industry bahu.

Lame season, lame end.

Season 5 will be remembered only & only for Kangana who whipped Kjo's sorry ass in style!!
