today medicore actors and average looking guy ruling the bollywood scene priyanshu was so talented that with his first film he made the role so legendary ...this era was the toughest for a new debut-ant to made a mark because it was highly dominated by khans

he could dance well too

I dont agree with you. He was surely good but he made a lot of wrong choices later. That era was not fully dominated by khans. But this era is dominated by Khans. Shahrukh is very consistent with his hits, Salman gives back to back blockbusters, Aamir break records whenever he comes. I felt if he couldn't do it then he could not have done now either. That era was not as competitive and Khans were not known as the biggest superstars at that time.
Although I do think they have better directors and audience is more accepting toward different stories/genres.

You're not completely wrong. I do believe we have some actors who would not had found work if they weren't star kids (Arjun, Harshwardan, Sooraj). He was better compare to some newcomers today but still not good enough to become superstar

that era was more competitive lagaan , mohabbatien , kabhi khushi kabhi ghum , hum tumhare hain sanam ...veer zara , hum tum's saif ali, dil chata hai , kal ho na ho , main hoon na , 1 2 ka 4 , khakhe , tere naam , all salman films be it flopped at box office but he had many films in those years, akshey kumar had many , govinda did many films .,, today srk is not doing good he make one film and that not superhit kind of ...salman do 1 film yearly , same with amir khan ..u see new people making more films today earlier things were different

As someone with huge gaps in BW knowledge I have no clue who this guy is. There is no wow factor when you look at him or no great screen presence. What the Khans had, all three of them was the ability to be remembered long before they became superstars. They had screen presence. You look at old Sunny Deol movies, he had screen presence. This guy would not make it long in any era, he just not have it IMO.

i am not seeing nay wow factor in ranbir or ranveer either if u see things just by looking at pictures 😉😉 talent should speak more than looks...infact by looking at ranveer singh he seems like a chichora , awara kind of guy but he work good else he dont have look or screen presence...Considering tum bin was priyanshu first film and compare superstars olders of 90's or of now of their first film with his and compare the acting presence u will get my point...rest become better with expereince but priyanshu without any expereince given a pro performance

I found him pretty dull, wooden and boring on screen though he was good looking. I actually much prefer Himanshu Malik over him. Sadly he's too old to revive his Bollywood career as a hero now:(
