adhm and bkd has the same opening...adhm was release in dilwali with the no1 actress in Bollywood while bkd was release in March when his core fanbse has exam...give the guy some credit,aknowlegding him won't hurt you

those questioning him should wait for judwaa2..except if the film is horrible,dat film will be a huge grosser releasing on dusshera

Koi kuch bhi kahe, HITS matter. Finally every star wants hits and everyone craves for it. Varun does act, he will improve further. If he excels in comedy, so be it. Tragedies work once in a while, entertainers is what public likes. Right now its Varun. Ranbir started off well and got time but now he needs to select entertainers to sustain. Ranveer does fine in between but he is not coming across as serious about acting. It seems he is in here for fun, his movie selection of Befikre was foolish.

I don't hate the guy. He's on the same level as Arjun Kapoor, Sid Malhotra, Tiger.

He's done some safe, budget friendly films with HIT music. But when people start calling him some superstar, then it's really pushing it. 12 Cr opening is nothing to be proud of especially for a sequel with chartbuster music.

@bold And that same Salman is ruling the industry from last 25 years. He is the only star who delivered back to back blockbusters. He is the only superstar who have two classic/iconic movies/characters to his credit (Dabbang, BB, and probably Sultan). He is a trend settler.

Varun Dhawan has a long way to go before he becomes superstar but so does other new gen stars. Currently, he is the only star who delivered back to back 8 successful movies. He has strong screen presence, easy on eyes, can act, and can dance. He is ahead of other new gen stars for sure 😊

He's getting popular among the masses young girls are swooning over him (😕) so I guess he is a superstar in the making. I m personally happy to see the one who shares my birthday do well!! I am shallow that way 😆
