Why are we so harsh on Salman Khan?

I was watching kamaal r khan's interview with faridoon, he asked krk as how much tubelight will do business at box office. Krk replied it will do business in 200-250 range, to which faridoon replied, it's good isn't it?

That point struck me like a bullet, why is it we expect salman khan to beat aamir khan for highest grosser when he isn't considered even a decent actor to win any best actor award?

Aamir is one fine talent, he wasn't ask to give highest grosser before, this box office chaser game wasn't even initiated back when films were just hit & super hit, so why now so much pressure for salman to do what seems difficult?

Today even to give hit film is quite a task, why expect mountain from salman only, not srk, no irrfan, no ajay, no ranbir, who are much better actor than him in 1st place.

Krk is a troll, doesn't matter. I m talking about ppl or trade's expectation from salman films. Why can't it is good to just have a 200 cr film, or we can say a 150 cr film.

He isn't actor for them when they have recognize talent, but he is some sort of magician when you have to chase highest grosser. Ask those actors who are talent, right?

Salman has finger on audience's pulse. That is so much bigger than just being good actor. In jargon used by film economics he is sure bet. He is honestly right now our biggest "true blood Superstar". It is right more will be expected from him and he has to deliver it. With Kabir who is good director the numbers expected will be big. 😛 😆

And who says that he is not talented or less talented than people whose names you have mentioned? Isn't that strictly your opinion not a fact?

He is the same actor who has done films like Sultan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Dabbang in the same year! The characters in the movie were very different from each other but he aced them all and made them iconic.

Of course expectations are high from him because he is delivering back to back blockbusters and picking good scripts now.

The pressure is from his fans, just like his shaadi. Nobody else gives a shit. Everyone else knows he can't beat Aamir for the simple reason Aamir brings the non-Bollywood crowd to the theatres while Salman can only bring those who are going to the theatres regularly anyways.
If he couldn't beat PK with Bajrangi Bhaijaan, a massy film with a great WOM, it's just never going to happen. Everybody just relax and let Bhai enjoy his #2 position.

You care as you keep saying this..on other note bajrangi did beat ok I n footfalls ( I won't go into ticket prices etc as that debate will go on and on ) and other ways and it wasn't even released on xmas which to me is the best time to release a movie and will stand by that as long as their is no clash and open weeks as Aamr enjoys...till someone does try to clash with him or come a week later or he chooses another time to release I won't ever agree with the opinion...because I saw how taalash did which wasn't on xmas..

Edit: only same situations can be compared and it's stupid how in Bollywood they compare when movie situations aren't the same and other things come into play..

They aren't Harsh, it's their insecurities i would say. For best actor... Apne IRRFAN Saab bhi Better ho jaayenge from Aamir, but nobody gives a shit or even dare to expect ke IRRFAN Saab ek HIT film hi de dein... woh competing with aamir bhool jao 😆

Aamir never existed before Ghajini, when he finally came into light, he is now became a Scapegoat for other fans of other stars to bash Salman & his films. Woh kehte hai na, apna Star agar nahi kuch karega... how could Salman have back to back blockbusters 😃

If his films succeed, term them as crap, put it in masala genre, all of them... When Acting awards ki baat aaye, he isn't a Actor to start with =)) 🤣

In this History of Hindi Cinema, 1st time u will see ppl who consider Salman as Non-Actor are the Ones who will expect him to give ATG... ACTOR vs NON-ACTOR... Aye Sabass 👏

Aamir will always be a scapegoat... ppl don't even credit him for his film's success, script ya phir director le jaata hai saara credit... Let Aamir enjoy this misery till the time Salman free him from this... The moment Salman will give ATG, Aamir exist karna bhi band kar jayega 😆
