Or is he keeping the controversy alive as part of Rangoon promotions? 😆

Its rather an unfortunate name for a cute baby...but that doesnt mean he will grow up to be vicious ruler like Taimur 🥱

I wont be surprised if KKK and Saif chose this name just to stay in the news with controversies.

and why bring up Ashoka or Shah Rukh or AbRam in this? 😕

I feel the world has come to a point where people have become sensitive to any thing and everything. People are getting offended and expect the other person to not respond. The reason why he is giving such explanation is because the people got offended first over a childs name. His explanations are not making any sense that's a different thing.
Don't think naming his child Taimur is going to make him any less Indian.

Saif's explanations are digging his grave even deeper. Why would it be impossible to name the kid Ram? His mother who gave birth to him is Hindu. Saif himself is half-Hindu because his mother is also Hindu.

Anyway, it's not as if the choice was between just Ram and Taimur. There are millions of names out there that could honor both Kareena and Saif's heritage. Even if they preferred a Muslim name, why on earth pick the one that is so offensive?

This is why some people are so against mixed-religion marriages because generally the mother's heritage and culture are erased and wiped away like they never existed. It usually devalues the woman.

Dragging in SRK's name was also disgusting. Don't involve other people in your controversies.
