^Actually, Aryan and Suhana are both pretty generic names that both Hindus and Muslims use. They aren't particularly identified with any religion. If they were Hindu names though, I still see it as being quite honorable. The kids already have their father's muslim last name so it makes perfect sense to use the first name to connect it to their mother.

When you have a mixed marriage, it's respectful and appropriate for both cultures to get equal value.

It's off-putting that Saif made a big fuss about how he can't name his kid Ram especially since the kid only has 1 muslim grandparent and 3 grandparents who are not Muslim. Still, he thinks only one should get importance.

Anyway at the end of the day, it's their personal life and nobody says anything bad about Sara and Ibrahim also having Muslim names. If they picked a regular Muslim name, I don't think there would have been much outcry.

Taimur is just plain awful. I can't even imagine a German gentile man marrying a Jewish woman and naming their kid Adolf. That's how bad this situation is. Kareena is brainless but I don't think most women would put up with such blatant disrespect to her culture.

The child is 3/4th Hindu and this apparently 'secular' Muslim says the kid cannot have a Hindu name!
Wow how secular these people will teach the kid to be when 3/4th of his ancestry is wiped out as his secular father and his idiot mother has completely erased even acknowledging the kid's ancestry that form the majority!
And he preached secularism duh!!

I LOVE how Saif always support the islam religion. The world wants people to brainwash and think islam is terrorist community and they are stupid enough to realize it's BILLIONS who follow that religion and if all of them were terrorist, world would've ended. So love Saif for this

Kareena Kapoor is Christian. She follows her mother's religion. Babita's mother was a British white woman. In all probability Kareena converted to Islam to marry Saif at least on paper. Sharmila Tagore is a Muslim too on paper. That's one criteria to be part of Nawab lineage so Saif is indirectly telling everyone that he chose to give his child a Muslim name. There's nothing wrong in that.

Ritesh chose Hindu names for his children. And these days names are so generic. When Alexander, Akbar, Shahrukh, Ashok and even Narendra 😉 is fine then what's wrong with Taimur? Alexander, Ashok and Taimur have the same pillage background.

I don't think Sharmila is Muslim by paper because she follows the religion and goes to the mosque for prayers. But Kareena is christian
