I find Divyanka, Akansha to be beautiful, yes. Surabhi Jyoti- Very pretty, there's something very attractive about her face structure to me. People here find her masculine but I never have.

Some white people still refuse to believe it exist, and get so upset when it's brought up. World is not color blind.There are people who really believe having a friend of color does not make them racist.I have a black friend, I am not racist.Some people actually believe that.

I find SouthEast Asian community very racist towards Hispanic and Blacks here. I am not implying everyone, but there is heavy racism that exist, the need to look down upon other and make inferences without knowing them.

I like Beyonc but I have to agree the way she is hailed as some deity is off putting at times. Don't get me started on her fanbase the Beyhive they are so vicious and will be in your mentions if you utter one negative word about their Goddess.

@bold- ya sameee! I mean I can see how she can be construed as having a masculine-looking face, but I've just always found her quite feminine! She super pretty!

Shilpa Anand is ok. I don't find her particularly pretty.

Divyanka is super pretty but like her personality kinda ruins her looks for me LOL. She's just so weird sometimes.

Whose akansha?

forreal tho, not to be a bitch, but the attractive-ness level of faces on the telly has really gone down. there's so many mediocre looking girls onscreen, it shocks me (goes for the guys too!).

We had similar experiences with Valentines Day probably because of where we were raised. Are you from Canada as well? You can be from any western country and you would have had similar experiences in your childhood.

I am somewhat of a hoarder. Not too bad but a little bit. I place sentimental value on things but then I have stuff I can look and remember a past long forgotten. Your brains covers up memories to make space so having stuff that triggers all these positive memories can be enlightening.

I dunno who Anupriya is. Never found Sanjeeda or Mouni Roy to be pretty or good as actors.

Simone Singh, Anuja Sathe (the actor who's playing Radha Bhai in Peshwa bajirao), Pallavi Subash are really ravishing Indian women!

ya racism within POC communities is really not talked about and often brushed under the rug. It's not just SE-A that are racist. Like indians are so damn racist as well. My friends and I (we're POC) often talk about how our grandparents/ parents can be so racist to other POC, it's ridiculous and deff needs to be discussed more.

and tbh I find the whole notion of ppl claiming to be colour-blind to be so ridic. like come on. i get the intention, but it's so false. it stems from a place of ignorance

This must be something that all of us who live abroad have to deal with & live through each & every single day. It's highlighted, underlined & opens your eyes when people through action & BL look down on you just b/c you're a certain race/colour. In India it's caste. And status!! Indians are probably the most obviously status-conscious nationality that exist. It's shocking to see how whites/foreigners react to things/beliefs that we are ingrained with since childhood. When my BIL says hello to the help the looks he gets are so telling. It's terrible. Every time I go abroad I feel like my personality is being re-worked in the subtlest of ways. Ah idk what am saying, except that Travelling is real education.
