Akanksha Singh. Google her, used to come a very nice show on Colours. And omg yes!! Shilpa Anand is so average looking, never found her particularly good-looking either & her slooow, sweet way of talking made me want to slap her. Ye I am pretty violent, lol.

I have lived all over India due to my dad's Army job and I have lived all over world due to husband's job. I faced more racism within India than abroad.

In Canada, heights are quite varied so the national height average for women is 5'3 - 5'4 so I am fine in that regard but it's human nature, we can't help want what we don't have.

All these similarities cropping up between us ☺️ Our brains are so powerful but they do falter at that danged memory stuff. Having these things which for us hold sentimental value triggers those memories. You are reminded of the person you used to be in a bygone era and at times it can be eye opening. Sometimes, you remember why you considered an object special and it puts a smile on your face while at other times you realize that you feel nothing for it anymore so goodbye.

Lol 10-20 years is a very long time. I am pretty organized with stuff but it always feels like it's too much. Hard to decide what I won't miss when it comes time for spring cleaning.

B/c the maids/the help aren't wished hello, good morning etc generally, in India? It's changing now bit by bit but it's still something that people aren't used to, and he's a Britisher so he finds all this ridiculous so persists. It's actually quite funny to see India/Indians through his eyes.

My head is spinning trying to keep up with all the shifting conversations. No wonder these threads move so fast lol.

Race discussions just put me in a funk these days, living in Trump Land witnessing all the racial tension and prejudice against minorities, its just a further reminder of the sad state of affairs here in the US. I'm so exhausted to a point that I've become numb to it all.

Anupriya Kapoor was the female lead in Tere Liye and was also in Warrior High opposite Laksh Lalwani. Anuja is really pretty! Simone is aging gracefully.
