Who do you think will reach the top. I know there are bhai, kumar sitting there. But it is time a young one makes it.

Varun has bhai's blessing. Ranveer has SLB. Both are hardworking, young and charming. Both are loved by media and audience alike.

Popularity - Varun 🥳

Acting - Ranveer 👏

I love Varun. He's currently my most favorite actor. But that is based on his looks and charms on screen 😳 . Acting wise, he haven't really impressed me yet and that include Badlapur. I mean, he was good, just not 'WOW and HOLY SHIT' kind of good 😆 If i have to rate his performance, i'd put Dishoom first and then Badlapur because he just seems so comfortable in it. I do want him to keep doing those dark and gritty roles in the future. Practice makes perfect they said 😳

I never like Ranveer in term of looks. I think he's fugly 😕 But i never denied that the guy can definitely act and i dont mind watching his fugly face in films because i know he will deliver ⭐️ Just please no more SLB. I dont like watching period stuffs 😭

Varun if you are going by mass connect.
Not every good actor can form a connect with key audience no matter how hard you work.Shahid is an example.I dont consider RS as good an actor as Shahid.But he has lot more industry support than Shahid ever had.
Critics,industry ppl praise him to skies.I see more of his admirers in directors,technicians,senior actor/actresses even TV actors than regular audience.Varun is loved by kids/youth audience alike.Since Varun has established better strong fan base though he is 2 yrs junior to RS,i see him being ahead in stardom race.

Varun has got everything - complete package.

He has the bollywood hero thing in him, but doesn't go overboard - because at the same time, he has an 'earthy' quality which is hard to find. He can connect with everyone. He is a good actor. Good dancer. To put it in simple words, he is pleasant in all ways not without substance. He has a confidence that is rare to find.

What more.

Ranveer too is the same...but, there's something lacking in him, he is a very good actor - is versatile, but he isn't a complete package - atleast not Varun jaisa.. Acting-dancing are one thing but they need more than that to be a 'star'.

I hope its Varun!!

He has that rare ability to elevate some really mediocre scripts.

Plus I do believe he has the most impactful screen presence in the young lot with great connect with audience and definately has potential as an actor just needs to chose better roles & films.

If rumours of him doing Shiddat, Dabba gul & Shoojit sircar's next in 2018 are true then even that issue will get resolved 😆
