i think they mostly want to release it next year to get a gud release date, this year is too congested with many films releasing, so i think its a gud decision by the team in terms of the release date

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have wrapped up the first shooting schedule of Brahmastra in Bulgaria

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have wrapped up the first shooting schedule of Brahmastra in Bulgaria. Yesterday, Alia shared a snapshot on social media with Ranbir and director Ayan Mukerji. She wrote, "It's a wrap on the first schedule for Brahmastra and the journey has only just begun." Ayan appears to be exhausted and catching up on sleep. The unit shot in Sofia for over a month.

With the maiden schedule of Brahmastra wrapped up, Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up to get into action mode. We hear the actor, over the next four weeks, will train in various Indian martial art forms, including Kalaripayattu and Huyen Langlon, for his superhero act in the Ayan Mukerji-directed film.

A source from the film's team reveals that both Ranbir Kapoor and his co-star Alia Bhatt are expected to return from Bulgaria by the weekend. While Bhatt will dive headlong into Gully Boy, Kapoor will begin his prep for the June schedule of the fantasy film Brahmastra. "Ranbir will train in Kalaripayattu and Varma Kalai. He is required to have the physique of a gymnast for the film, and these martial art forms will help him achieve that," says the source.

A sling can't keep our super gal down! Alia Bhatt returned to the bay with her arm in a sling post the wrap of the first schedule of Ayan Mukerji's action-adventure Brahmastra.The actress had suffered a rather serious injury in Bulgaria. X-ray reports had shown ligament tear and hematoma. She had been advised complete rest and no action sequences in the near future in order to allow her shoulder injury to heal completely. She will also reportedly also undergo physiotherapy in order to ensure a speedy recovery.

However, no action doesn't mean no action... the spirited girl is back at work, shooting for Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy. She has started a 20-day schedule for the musical in Mumbai her right shoulder in a sling isn't holding her back.

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Gully Boy', which is being helmed by the very talented filmmaker Zoya Akhtar has been creating immense buzz. With the plotline so captivating and a star cast so promising, Gully Boy' is one of the most-awaited films of 2018.

Ranveer is known for being completely absorbed in his roles and he does all that it takes to nail his on screen portrayals. This time for Gully Boy', he has taken on the Mumbai's Churchgate Railway Station where he was seen boarding a train while shooting for a crucial scene for the film.

Since, local trains are the lifeline of Mumbai city, the Gully Boy' team did not want to disturb the travellers and so chose to shoot on a Sunday with 50-60 junior artistes as co-passengers. The shoot went on for a couple of hours in the afternoon and wrapped up around 5.45 pm. The train was heavily guarded with security personnel.

Ranveer will be teaming up with Alia Bhatt for the first time in Gully Boy'. He spoke to a leading daily about the film and said, "It's very close to my heart. My first film, Band Baaja Baaraat' is very special to me. After that, if there's any film that's close to my heart, it's Gully Boy'. I want to put these boys (rappers Naezy and Divine) in the spotlight. I want to be a champion for their cause and provide a bigger platform for such amazing talents to shine through.

Ranveer also talked about the film's director Zoya with who he will be teaming up for the second time after Dil Dhadakne Do'. He said, "Zoya and I really get each other. I'm connected with her on a personal level. We speak to each other openly, and are absolutely honest with each other. For me, that's a unique dynamic. She holds a very special place in my heart.

It's amazing how Ranveer has been filming the movie non stop, he has taken no breaks, the whole team has taken no breaks, they r filming it in one stretch
