Raees Fourth Day Business

Raees had good collections on Saturday as it collected around 15.50 crore nett taling its four day total to a healthy 75 crore nett. The film jumped around 20% from the previous day which had seen a big fall as it came after the big national holiday. Sunday should see a jump although there is the cricket match which may affect the collections. Then it will be down to the crucial Monday and weekday business which will determine whether film can become a hit or not. Raees has beaten the competition of Kaabil as it leads by over 30 crore nett in just four days and that its near impossible for Kaabil to get that back but its still open to question whether Raees will sustain after the weekend. The first four day business of Raees is as follows.

Wednesday - 20,25,00,000

Thursday - 26,25,00,000

Friday - 13,00,00,000

Saturday - 15,50,00,000

TOTAL - 75,00,00,000 apprx

anyways yesterday morning, we had some estimates coming that it was to do around 17 crore .. but we ended up with 15.6cr as per BOI.. How did that happen? I had hoped for slightly better figures.. Not over 18 but at least around 17ish..

well thats ok. Because all these figures are approximate values. Plus predictions always have margins for error. The best thing if you notice is a growth on Saturday which is great and clearly suggests people have accepted the movie.

They had already postponed the film for so long
I think the buzz would have been reduced if they further postponed it
Also this time of the year it is difficult to get solo release
