Haven't seen it...but I am not surprised. Over last few weeks it became increasingly obvious this wasn't the movie Dholakia had originally wanted to make..he admitted he changed a lot of things based on feedback from trade guys, Farhan...he said he had planned to make Raees a docu-drama. SRK said it was a very hardhitting realistic film initially but things change when he comes on board by virtue of his stardom. Zaalima and all seem to have been added by SRK later. Dholakia admitted he thought it was too filmy. I think Dholakia got caught up in trying to make the film he wanted and still cater to SRK's commercial element and some things got left behind in that process...Dholakia is obviously pretty happy with the film overall, but it's not surprising if things were muddled up.
