Can Bollywood remake La La Land? Or they are to backward to do it?

I thought it was thakela till they were singing songs. 😆 HW musicals are not my thing, except for HSM. 😆

BUT I liked the second half (when they stopped the Broadway genre of music) and moved on with the story. I also really liked the ending because it showed that sometimes love is not enough. I don't think BW will make such a film though. Maybe if they remake Premam.

Gosling and Stone were brilliant.

Also, can someone explain what is so dishy about Ryan Gosling?

Fun fact- A casting director originally thought Gosling was perfect for The Notebook because he was 'ordinary looking'. Now he is a sex symbol. Oh how the tables turn.

Bollywood is not backward :(

..but anyway, they could make a musical one like we had OLD OLD movies -completely musical ones. (atleast there were musical ones in Telugu).. but, I don't want it to be entirely jazz or western music stuff, maybe one small section of jazz/western music - but the rest has to be a concoction of hindustani, carnatic, bollywood, pop - make it colorful, lively, and diverse just like our Indian culture is! 😃

Good actors have to be chosen though - and a good director - and a good screen-writer - which is hard but not impossible :) I wish new theatre actors from outside or inside are chosen for this...

he is dishy because... not because of his looks, but his vibes, demeanor, acting - there's something about him, what can I say 😳☺️ .. I didn't like him in Notebook - I fell for him first when I watched him in Fracture and then in Drive ❤️

Same here..I did not like him at all in The Notebook ( and did not like the movie)..so I was avoiding watching his movies, then I watched "Crazy , Stupid Love" for Steve Carell only but after watching him in the movie I thought "umm, he is not that bad" but somehow I came across 'Blue Valentine' and then The Place Beyond the Pines..and DAMMNN...then there is Drive, The Nice Guys...he is a very very very good actor..
