^^ To be fair to her though, she is very tomboyish & all these boys say that she's a tomboy too. But I do agree with everything else you said- Some girls just like to say all this because they think it makes them sound "so cool." It doesn't. Their bond seems a bit quirky & nice! I like that both were honest that they actually don't keep in touch & when they do it's super-curt. 😆

well DP doesn't seem to have any... Does any contemporary like her?

And yeah there are girls that claim that they can only be friends with guys bc every other girl is jealous of them and girls are catty, etc. It's a common trope some girls use to prop up themselves up at the expense of other women, but to me it's a huge red flag and actually signals that they are probably the problem.

What a load of crap dude. I too have mostly guy friends and thats purely because of the field I am in; engineering. Plus I've been brought up in a family with my brothers and male cousins, then having played football and kickbox in my younger years. You don't have to be that judgemental. It could have many reasons. Sad how some people see it as a red flag. Friendship shouldn't be based on gender.

If you frame it based on circumstances, that's fine, but if you're outright dismissive of a gender then yeah, i stick to my judgement. mostly guys friends is not equivalent to "can't be friends with girls" though.
