I think as BW lovers , we all should comment on SRkat's BO future predictions and discuss it every week.
He brings out many perspectives around the movie. Worth debating !!

Just one question, to you or anyone else who has thoughts on this - Any idea why Befikre is not doing well overseas? I'm a bit surprised by this. The youth abroad is more familiar and comfortable with these bold scenes right? Why exactly is the movie not working outside India?

Any theories will be appreciated. I am genuinely interested.

^ yeah was pretty shocked. I saw it in New York with a pretty full theater & it seemed like everyone was enjoying it. This is kind of a terrible time to release a youth oriented film because of exams though.

S10 - I live in UK and I can tell you reasons about Befikre not doing well
1) It's not had a wide release like BM and ADHM
2) Most diaspora are Sallu-SRK fans or they go for 90s directors love. So KJo and YRF movies are lapped up. But Befikre isn't your typical Adi C movie. We hate experiments to our bubble gum cinema. This is where Befikre fails.
3) It's promo isn't child friendly. Cost of baby sitter is like 40 pounds per hour on Saturday night. Do the maths !!

4)School holidays start from next week. People planning to go to India. So it can be watched in India and enjoyed more.
