I'm choosing to look at it positively.
Fawad got all that backlash because of the timing of ADHM's release. He's a famous star and everything just lined up for the media. Famous actor + famous director's movie + Pakistan angle = Hot Topic!

Now things have cooled down, and the latest hot topic is the demonetization so Ali escaped any ruckus. I guess Mahira will be the true test. I hope there aren't any protests. Hopefully the media will move on for a bit and focus on newer issues that seem to be cropping up daily.

Then maybe Pak artists can resume working here...? It is my hope that we as a country allow people of all nationalities to work here without facing bans and boycotts. And I don't just mean actors. So the fact that Rahat Fateh is singing in a Bollywood movie looks like good news to me.

Maybe it is me being naive, but I still have hope. Hope is all we have. 😭

And as for Bollywood - I can't imagine Bwood going to such lengths to get Fawad out. They have more subtle ways, IMO. Give him bad scripts/directors/costars etc and it's an automatic exit.

I cannot make you understand, any more. Anyways, to you your favourite actor is the best and to me, likewise. Atif got hate on india forums but not as the same intensity as Fawad. Atif has given so many songs whereas FK has only acted in three films. Which means to say Atif should have got more hatred, right.. whether he was active or not. Besides, Fawad is a socially introvert person. He likes to live in his shell which also gives a chance to throw accuses at him because he does not respond to anyone.

I'm only talking about Pak artists here. RK was never hated for professional reasons. He was criticised for some of his bad movies.

When hypocrites have no answer for their hypocrisy after they are exposed such responses are expected. People speaking of life outside forum simply come back with new ids after 'breaks' and claim to have a life. Uri and Nagrota have proved that patriotism is the last refuge of scoundrels.
