After Baahubali 2, SS Rajamouli won't be able to work with Telugu stars. Yes, you read it right. Rajamouli is toying with the idea of teaming up with Aamir Khan for his next after Baahubali: The Conclusion and if all goes well, the film will mark the Bollywood debut of the Rajamouli. Though Rajamouli has been planning to do a film with Aamir since longtime and Aamir too expressed his wish to work with Rajamouli, things aren't materialising for various reasons. But after Baahubali 2, looks like, Rajamouli and Aamir film is likely to happen.
However, Rajamouli do have plan-B if his film with Aamir might not work immediately. The star director is of the opinion to direct a sequel to Eega after Baahubali 2 so that he could play it safe as it is a simple story and won't have the burden of what new Rajamouli would do after Baahubali. It may be noted that Rajamouli had made Maryada Ramanna and Eega after Magadheera to subdue the expectations on him. He may now apply the same formula after Baahubali if Aamir's film didn't happen.
After Eega 2, Rajamouli may not work with Telugu stars except Mahesh Babu with whom he has committed a film longtime back. Producer KL Narayana will bankroll Rajamouli and Mahesh film. If grapevine is to be believed, Rajamouli will next be moving to Bollywood and may do films with B-town stars.
