Diwali is a national holiday - includes people of all religions in our country.

I have No clue about the movie😆😆 Not interested in it , because of my patriotism.

Just wanted to tell that Diwali is NOT a national holiday in India. There are only 2 National holidays -26th Jan and 15th Aug. You can say that its largely a holiday but media houses and others do work on this day too.

Did Qubool Hai ( I did not watch it) show characters following their faith. Yes

I remember watching Heena, it was totally based on beliefs of the community. Could Heena be story of Hindu girl? No. So there is a logic behind characters in TV , so why not movie?
Could Heena be Shruti? It won't work.

I have not watched both the shows, but I would say it totally depends on the backdrop where the story is set as well as what the writers want to show.. In this context, the movie is set in London, so it does not look so out of context... I have atleast 4-5 friends living abroad who have married someone from outside their own religion!

Having said that, I cannot even relate to a supposedly decent girl kissing a guy who she has hardly knows for a few hours, living with him, sleeping on the same bed etc etc... Its completely un-relatable.

Thanks for understanding my POV.
I am not against Muslims. I am biggest Salman fan !! How can I be against Muslims?
It was a question that I have asked before also. But forum has become super sensitive now.

I think he just wanted an exception. It's very rare that the central characters of a movie are believers of Islam.

Guys - I am not against Muslims. Perhaps I was trying to find logic behind a KJO movie on a super sensitive forum. Big mistake

My next question was that they have shown people playing Holi in Muslim marriage. I attend Muslim marriages regularly, so I know that its wrong portrayal. That's why I was trying to establish logic behind beliefs and things shown on movie.

Apologies if you are hurt.
